Emergency Response
& Crisis Management Services
FSS are available to respond to unforeseen natural disasters and outbreaks of violence that may occur on the international front. Our former military planning, operational consultants and other specialists enable FSS to provide its Clients with a strategic solution to events that require a prompt and decisive intervention.
FSS will provide a 24/7-point of contact and response for the Client security management team through our own operations room and duty operations manager.
Air Lift Capability
FSS have contracted Air Partner PLC as our lift provider and we can provide a guaranteed air response on a commercial basis to an evacuation request. Our partner has over 40 years of charter history and a truly global footprint. This gives FSS a wide ranging reach.
Emergency Contingency Planning
FSS will create or review specific emergency contingency plans and after completing desk top planning will go to the country of concern to put in place the practical support mechanisms to ensure that an emergency evacuation caused by general war, civil strife or natural disaster is in place resourced and rehearsed.
This will include an air, road and maritime evacuation plan where appropriate.
If FSS are retained to provide emergency contingency and extraction services, in the event of a real time evacuation the Client will be secure in the knowledge that FSS Operators will immediately deploy to that country and conduct the evacuation utilising the pre-planned assets and resources.
In Country Planning
With the Clients security or management team we will put in place the following;
- Review (and subsequent updating) of Emergency Contingency Plans
- Create an “In-country” Warden System
- Identify and communicate with likely “stay behind” service providers to:
- Safeguard evacuated premises
- Safeguard evacuated facilities and installations
- Secure left behind assets
- Locate suitable; muster points, routes and evacuation heads.
- Plan the logistics required
- Rehearse the evacuation and communication plans
If an evacuation plan is activated our evacuation teams are equipped with;
- Cellular and satellite telephones
- Hand held satellite navigation equipment
- Satellite tracking and locator beacon
- Comprehensive first aid kits
- Personal items to sustain them in the open environment
The FSS management team has coordinated and carried out live extractions from Albania in 1999 and Lebanon in 2006.
FSS are retained to carry out emergency evacuation services across the Middle East, Levantine and Indus regions.
