Assessment Services


To assist the Client with the research phase of a projected expansion FSS will complete various types of due diligence to provide detailed and reliable information so that informed business decisions can be made.

For Greenfield projects or those in unfamiliar territories, FSS can provide valuable information about local conditions in terms of issues that cross religious, tribal, or political divisions. FSS will undertake site visits and fact-finding missions to the specific area of proposed operations to ensure the risk brief is accurate, reliable and up to date. We will identify local risks and threats to the proposed operation and provide sensible risk management and mitigation strategies. These visits are particularly useful to the mining and hydrocarbon sectors working in remote areas.

At the implementation stage FSS can supply consultancy, co-ordination, security or protective site security management services throughout the project cycle.

Scope of Assessments

Prior to engagement we will liaise closely with the Client to discuss any concerns they may have and agree the necessary scope of the assessment. FSS will carry out independent security assessments or risk and vulnerability assessments of any key point or other location and review existing security infrastructure or services for the Client.

On completion of the assessment FSS will provide a full report detailing our findings along with a photographic record to support any recommendations for improvements we may make to address any identified shortfalls.

Choosing a reliable and safe charter service provider in a developing country is an essential task. FSS will conduct on site safety and security assessments of charter operators around the world. We will review flight, ground and maintenance performance standards and certifications utilizing subject specific experts. We will provide an in depth report of the findings supplemented with an analysis based on open source records and research.
